Old resort. Expensive for the small chalets.. No difference from a small hotel room

The resort is clean, long beach with clear water. Lot of monkeys and cats roaming around, good for children. Sea activities are fun. Staffs are friendly and professional. WiFi is stable and fast. Room is clean and spacious. However the bad note will be the food (buffet) ; little choices and identical everyday; taste is below average and so so. The a la carte menu is no much better. Prices are rather expensive for the taste offered. However there is a chinese restaurant (jetty paya) by the entrance of the resort which is much better with cheaper prices and a good menu, I went there almost everyday to avoid the food at the resort after the second day.

The hotel is large with good facilities- Yoga, games room, pool, spa, restaurant etc. The pickup/drop off shuttle to the ferry is very convenient. Very much suited for families and large groups. The private beach is great and good snorkelling places are just a quick boat ride away. My only feedback for the hotel was to have more shelter/trees in the playground and near the pool area- as we went during a hot week, and the sun was too bright to attempt either facility. Also would request the facility to track the coconuts near the walking paths, as I missed getting hit with a falling one by a meter as I was walking to the room after dinner. The villa is great- we had connecting rooms to accommodate the family, and really enjoyed our stay.

We booked a 3D2N trip with Berjaya. 1. Service: After booking, we contacted the CS to enquire about few things. Staff named Anjeli attended to us - assisted us thoroughly and comprehensively. Even before we reached Berjaya, Anjeli had already gave us a good service. This basically sums up all of their staffs service, they are all professionals and friendly. Credits to staffs at the receptionist, restaurant, and definitely the staffs at the water sports centre - they were really helpful and made us feel safe and excited to try out the activities. 2. Room: rooms are old and cleanliness could be improved, unless of course you book the most atas one. But we do understand the pandemic etc took place and whatnot - if the rooms were all renovated or improved, this stay would have easily been a 10/10. 3. Food: Food for breakfast, lunch and dinner was fantastic. Hats off to the staffs for great service too. You do not have to worry about food because they do serve good, hearty meals and buffet. 4. View: the view was so so so spectacular. I saw pictures of the beach panorama berjaya offers but guess what - turned out i was more in awe with the opposite view - the greenery lush. So you get 2 in 1 view, the greenery lush and the blue beach. 5. Transportation: they provide shuttle service to and fro tekek jetty so it is convenient for you. In the resort, they have buggy service as well. For transportation around Kg Tekek - they have Along who most of the time will be at the lobby to help arrange taxi (4x4 not icky taxis hehe and at your own costs) for you. Theres also motorcycles to rent right outside the resort! 6. Misc: Anjeli was so sweet to arrange a basic room decoration and gave us free cake since it was our anniversary trip - thank you Anjeli and Berjaya staffs. 7. For parents with kids - you might want to book this place as the beach is pretty shallow so you wont have to worry about slopes etc - and plus the pool is not bad as well 8. Suggestions: Given that the facilities (like the game rooms, lobby and gym) are old - would be good to have sanitizer everywhere 9. Fireshow, yoga: They have fireshow every Sat during dinner time - my oh my I was like meh, ok, fireshow so what - but no. It was quite touching and loved the fire show. Yoga at 8am almost everyday - didnt get to join but yassss for my yoga ladies. 10. Drinks: they have pool bar, and beach bar. Aesthetically not pleasing (the bar and the glasses) but cocktails were not bad. But yeah im just a girl - i love my cocktails pictures but to serve cocktails in ugly glasses - life is too short for that! 8/10 would repeat again!

The buffet breakfast was exceptional, offering a generous spread of dishes to suit every taste. Just offshore lies Reggis Island, one of the region’s top snorkeling spots, easily accessible and teeming with marine life."
