The hotel is 3 stars and have seen better days. The staff is very friendly and converse in English is not an issue. The one jetty there will require walking 200m to hotel van pick up during night time. The small beaches there is unfortunately not that clean and some plastics waste can be found on all beaches in Redang sadly. Overall the stay was pleasant for the price.

Amazing staff, Syahil and others — truly one of the highlights of the experience. Everyone was friendly, approachable, and very easy to talk to, which made us feel comfortable and well taken care of. However, there is some room for improvement when it comes to the place itself, especially the café area. I would suggest not setting up or displaying utensils in advance. I noticed that some utensils were dusty and a few seemed unclean, possibly due to the windy environment and the open setup. It might be better to provide clean utensils only once guests are seated to ensure cleanliness. I understand that manpower may be limited and that the place is a bit old, but maintaining cleanliness and proper organization is still very important. While the service from the staff is excellent, improving cleanliness and orderliness would definitely enhance the overall experience.

I stayed 2 nights at the hotel from 26/8/2024 - 28/8/2024. Generally, I'd like to recommend the hotel. Below I commented in few points of view from my feelings staying here for your reference. Good points: 1. Good location (Near by Jetty, the hotel provide free pick up service from the Jetty Redang to the hotel) 2. Good environment. 3. Convenient for snorkeling in Marine park (But I didn't choose that one because I did too many in the Perhentian Islands). Bad points: 1. Low cost performance. Comparing the similar hotels I stayed in Langkawi, Semporna & Tioman, this one too expensive. I booked with the price RM 360 / night, which can be half in other Islands. 2. Foods is simple, not much choice and I don't like it. 3. Boad services for snorkeling & transfer are expensive comparing to Perhentian etc.

The resort is located very near to the jetty. They provide free 2 way transfer between hotel and jetty. Hotel is pretty old and rustic but rooms are very clean. Need to improve on lighting as it can be quite dim at night. Staff are very friendly and helpful. Special thanks to Syida who mans the activities counter. Before my trip, I called to enquire on the snorkelling packages and she was very patient to explain and provide suggestions. The snorkelling packages are worth going during the day. Can swim with turtles. There isn’t much option to eat if you stay here. Either you eat at their resort cafe or take a 10mins walk to the Malay stalls near the jetty. We ate lunch at the cafe twice as it is more convenient. Food is ok for the price paid. Better to select their western cuisine like chicken chop, pasta and burger. The chicken rice and fried rice was just so so. Breakfast needs a lot of improvement. First day, we were served fried rice,fried noodles,porridge,scrambled eggs, baked beans, french fries and bread. The fried rice was horrible as the rice was hard. Second day was so much better as they change the fried rice to Nasi lemak. Location wise, the resort is not located near any public beach. You need to pay rm60 for taxi to the public beach about 10mins away. There is totally no night activity at the resort. If you want to go long beach, depending on weather and min 6pax with price of rm55 per person. This is a go to hotel if you are looking for relaxation and not back to back activities. The staff attitude makes you feel very at home.
