KRABI BAMBOO KINGDOM at AOLUEK PARADISE

We had a wonderful and very unique stay at this hotel while traveling with my two little boys. The hotel is built almost entirely from bamboo, and our room had two levels. My boys absolutely loved climbing up and down the little house—it felt like staying in a tree house! For us, it was a very special experience and something quite different from a typical hotel. One interesting thing is that there are no locks on the doors. I guess everyone who stays here simply relies on trust and the peaceful atmosphere of the place. At first it felt unusual, but it was also part of what made the stay so unique. Right in front of our room was a beautiful pond. The hotel staff kindly provided us with fishing lines and hooks, and my boys had so much fun trying to fish. To our surprise, we actually caught two big fish! We paid a small amount, and the staff cooked the fish for us for dinner. It was such a memorable experience—catching our own dinner. The surrounding scenery was also beautiful, with amazing mountain views and a lovely pond right in front of the rooms. There were many friendly dogs running and playing around, which my boys also enjoyed. There are a few downsides, especially if you're not used to staying close to nature. There were quite a lot of mosquitoes and insects, and unfortunately we got quite a few bites, so I would definitely recommend bringing insect repellent. There is also a natural pool within walking distance. However, the hotel staff were kind enough to drive us there, which was very helpful with two young children. The kids had a great time swimming in the clean natural water and enjoying the small waterfall, surrounded by beautiful mountain scenery. Overall, this was not a typical hotel stay—it was a real nature experience. If you're looking for something unique, peaceful, and close to nature, I would definitely recommend giving this place a try.

Great stay

Really lovely site, rooms are basic but there only to sleep in as there’s lots of lovely spots to chill within the site. The whole vibe was lovely, food was reasonably priced and very tasty. We ate dinner listening to live music. The live music continued into the night, we were so tired from travelling we only heard from our room which is a shame because it sounded like a fantastic night. We only booked for 1 night as it was fully booked, it cost quite a lot for a taxi to get there and back so ended up costing a lot just for 1 night. I’d suggest booking for at least 2 nights so you can relax and chill there.

Travelling with my 12 year old, I was not sure if this booking might have been a step too far in terms of home comforts. When I got an email upon booking to manage my expectations around the possibility of bugs, etc, I initially questioned if it was the right thing but couldn't help thinking that there must be something special about this place, if they can afford to be so honest 🤔 I'm so happy we gave Bamboo Kingdom a chance. The location is simply breathtaking and the traditional huts are beautifully put together. For me though, it is the people who make the experience and Bamboo Kingdom attracts some of the most incredible staff, friends and guests. The nightly music is the perfect prelude to the sound of cicadas chirping in the hills and the frogs in the stream. The trips available are definitely worth looking into. The kayaking and boat trips were a great way to see more of Krabi and to have entire lagoons and tropical beaches to yourself, isn't something you'll be finding easily in Ao Nang in January

It is such a beautiful place surrounded by jungle and mountains. The staffs are so joyful and friendly .
