Leonardo Royal Hotel Ibiza Santa Eulalia

Hotel was great. It's a short walk from two incredible beaches. Very low key, yet we were there during off season. Seems great for families - game rooms (was closed when we were there - sure it's because it's off season) and a kid's area by the pool. Solid restaurant next door on the water called mamajuana - wonderful food. Try the crab and shrimp croquettes! We didn't do any research about ibiza before coming, and we did know it's off season. That being said, it was very sleepy which was nice for us - seems like there are some large hotels + restaurants across the bay that were completely closed for slow season so was a bit erie Hotel can help set you up with taxi or scooter rental if you want to check out the busier parts of the island

The hotel was in a great location, lots of restaurants and supermarkets near by. The beach next to the hotel was ok, but the bay round the corner was nicer. Although be aware there was a few naked people on it. Wasn’t expecting to explain that to a 6 year old. Sea was beautiful. Food in the hotel was ok, we went for 3 nights and eat out twice. Room was big enough for all 5 of us we had a family room. Staff were friendly and the little kids liked the children’s entertainment.

For the first three days our air-conditioner did not work and the toilet was non stop running. Between the noise and the heat we did not sleep the first three nights. They eventually sent a team but did not accommodate us in anyway for the first three days. No air-conditioner in Ibiza during July is unacceptable. Also this place is suitable for families not really young travelers and it is a bit far away from everything. If you are looking just to relax on the beach and not leave the hotel this place is perfect.

You can get better! We dont have high expectations but this place was a waste. This is my first review ever for accommodations so that should tell you something. We didn't stay in the main building, it was a second building that was run down. It looked like a run down motel. The place didn't look like it had been cleaned. The baseboard were dusty. The walls, floors and baseboards were chipped and marked and actually looked like it had mold. The telephone was there but not connected.. the wire for the telephone was there but you couldn't pull it out from behind the wall. The ac was terrible. The shower water fluctuated from extremely hot (like burn your skin) to cold. We complained and asked for another room but they didn't want to hear it. Anyway, we really wanted to check out and find something else but we had spend *** on this for 3 nights. It is what it is now. But hopefully this review helps others.
