One of our most memoral stay in Bintan. Really feel at home. The room and surroundings were clean. Though the swimming pool were undergoing some minor upgrading, we can use the Banya Tree pool next door. Check in was smooth and inmediate as we already did an online pre-check the day before. Front deck Supervisor Pamcha was very friendly and helpful giving us useful information to make our stay memorable and he even took the initiative to extend our check out till 4pm from the normal 12 Noon without us requesting as we had booked the last ferry departing at 6.30pm. Overall, the service staff in the Lotus restaurant were friendly and pro-active in their service. Also a big shout out to driver Fandi who send us to and fro the ferry terminal. Highly recommended. Already planning a second trip for later part of the year.

Stayed midweek and it was lovely and quiet. Rooms are a little dated but clean and comfortable and the location right on the beach is great. Staff were kind and helpful! Enjoyed seeing a family of monkeys in the trees behind our room. Purchase your own snacks at the ferry port or 15min taxi ride to a local food area with minimart and atm as there is nothing nearby - plenty of restaurants in the hotel and neighbouring hotels.

The staff at the Angsana are very friendly, thoughtful and professional. We had to make a trip to see a doctor with one of the kids and the staff were incredibly helpful, immediately organising a driver who took us there, helped us with communicating with the medical team and taking us back to the hotel. The rooms are simple but very clean, and they hotel provided us with bed rails to ensure our toddler doesn't fall out of the bed during the night - which ensured that I got good sleep too. (Our child refuses to sleep in a cot). The food options were very versatile and tasty, the facilities adequate to keep everyone entertained for a couple of days.

Good value for money. Nice beach. Clean rooms with comfortable beds. But overall property is old and furniture and common toilets look tired and dated. Staff are very friendly and helpful. Massage at the Angsana spa was excellent.

We often forget about Bintan, so close to Singapore it should be a regular getaway. The beach at Angsana was absolutely beautiful. Clear water and delightful swimming for 2 salt water deprived Aussies. What lets Bintan down is the cost once you are there. IDR29,500 (approx SG$29.00) for a glass of wine is outrageous. Bintang Beer was triple the cost you get in Bali. Breakfast in the resort was OK, not fabulous as was lunch. We ate dinners next door at Banyan Tree. Saffron was definitely the best. The Spa was incredible. One of the best massages we have ever had. All in all, for a quick 2 night trip this is worth it. No airports to deal with the, the ferry is quick and efficient and definitely worth paying the extra for Emerald Class for the quick check in and processing.
