Famstel Gokarna - Beach Stay

We stayed for 2 days in the tent stay. Room was very nice. Common restrooms were also very clean. But the problem is that there is no backup generator. There was powercut in the morning, hence there was no water and we had to wait 30-45 mins for the power to come back up. Other than that small hiccup, the stay was awesome. The hosts were super friendly. They helped us plan the gokarna beach Trek and even drew a route map for us.

I came with my friend and we booked Tent Room as we wanted Adventurous experience. Pros: Location was just awsome, right outside the resort you will get a clean private beach experience. Just 20 steps walkable distance to the beach. The crowd was less and it felt like heaven. Main market was 3 kms from the resort, which is manageable. Cons: The Room was good, two separate beds were there, but there was no mirror. We had to use common washroom which was okay, could have been better. And the mirror outside the common washroom was damaged. When we asked the manager to arrange a mirror in our room, he told that won’t be possible and we have to upgrade to normal rooms. So for couple or girls, it won’t be good because of the mirror. Summary: Overall the experience was just amazing.

-The property is right at the beach with amazing view. -Food is a little bit on the expensive side. -Staff is nice & helpful. -Two wheeler rental charges are expensive. -They should organize some activities like bonfire. Overall a good experience 👍

Rooms were decent and clean. View was exceptional and food was really good . We used common washroom and they used to clean it after every use

You have to compromise facilities if you want the view and the location, which was amazing and staff was also good. They provide good food.
