Hotel Marina Bima

The staff at Marina Hotel are very friendly and helpful. The main problem with my room was that there was no easy-access plug (colokan) near the bed for charging my phone. The plug was underneath the desk and very difficult to access. The wifi is also up and down, not stable. I also needed an iron and the hotel does not have an iron. So the facilities are lacking.

The staff were the highlight. Very friendly and helpful and answering all my questions. The bed was comfortable. Not much happens in the city early in the morning except the market which was very busy. Easy walk to the bus station, museum (the guide was very helpful using Google translate to explain exhibits but only spend about an hour there). Can also walk to Masjid Terapung Amahami Kota Bima which is near Amahami Beach (not actually a beach and a lot of rubbish). I also continued walking to Lewata Beach and there were lots of earrings there and some people swimming (early morning).

I picked a bigger room, I upgraded but got a smaller room that I first looked at, but it was only one night and didn't feel like looking for another hotel

Hotel is very basic but clean, in the middle of town. Staff is very friendly but hotel could be refreshed.
