We always finish our UK trips at The Crown and Cushion in Eton. It's been that way for years. We love the quaintness and quirkiness of the old building where nothing is square or level! The staff are great, the breakfasts more than adequate and the beds comfortable and warm. Eton High Street is great place to stay just across the river from Windsor. Loads of great pubs and restaurants on the doorstep. The Castle is just a couple of hundred meters away. Its a restful place to wind down at the end of a holiday. Highly recommended.

Quaint little pub with rooms above in Eton
We always finish our UK trips at The Crown and Cushion in Eton. It's been that way for years. We love the quaintness and quirkiness of the old building where nothing is square or level! Room No. 1
This is our 2nd time stay. Location great. Staff so friendly and sweet. clean. We stayed Room 1 this time and the bed was horrible. Spring all broken and your skin is literally touch the Spring directly. Maybe the owner doesn't know. But please do not sell Room 1 coz its not sleep able bed! Could you plz check the bed if that's ok to see to customer?

Crown & Cushion - one night
You need to be prepared that the C & C is in a 600 year old building. (My wife wasn't.) It's clean and nicely upgraded, but the floors are not very level, and I hit my head several times in the low passage into the bathroom. The staff is friendly and the breakfast was excellent. The location, across the river from Windsor Castle, is very good. The free parking in back is very welcome.

Two day break
A luvly two days in Windsor in a nice little hotel the crown and cushion with free breakfast and parking which is always a good thing. Convenient location close to everything ideal for what we wanted.

Great stay in Eton
This pub style accommodation is not 5 star and that is reflected in the quite low price. The rooms are very adequate. Small but good. Access to our Room 5 was via some tricky stairs but we managed. The breakfast was amazing... cooked to your desires. The dinner menu is also very good and very accommodating for my husband who is a coeliac. We would definitely recommend this place.
