Perfect location for what we needed (sandown). Host is really welcoming and very accommodating. The room was perfectly clean and did exactly what we needed it to do for our stay.

Nice old fashioned british guest house, but ...

Nice old fashioned british guest house. with nice man running it. However: the single room is ridiculously small. Just big enough for the bed. Also, the shared bathroom really lets the place down. It hasn't been renovated in about six decades. Also, the placement of the TV in the room is up on a high shelf. You'd need a chiropractor after watching it.

Very Pleasant & Welcoming Stay

I stayed over for one night at this wonderful home in the village of Claygate. The host was a very helpful and accommodating gentleman who went to great lengths to ensure that my stay was satisfactory. The room I stayed in was clean and had a nice window view of the backyard garden. The breakfast served in the morning inside the dining room was exceptional and very well prepared. I would most highly recommend staying at this exceptional guest house in a very safe and lovely neighbourhood. I certainly would stay here again if I’m back in the same area as it is very worthwhile. This truly is an ideal and relaxing home away from home for those travellers who prefer a peacefully enjoyable experience.
