Me and my husband stayed 2 nights in January the hotel was really nice so we’re the staff it was good value for money the only down side was we were in room 14 and it’s very small the shower room is tiny it is literally the smallest I have ever seen it was well fitted out but you have to squeeze by the wash hand basin to get in the shower and I think a larger person just would not be able to get in there is also a cupboard/wardrobe in the room for clothes but you can only half open the door as the bedside table is in the way we were there in January there was a radiator in the room not on this was not a problem as the room is just so hot had to sleep with the window open we had breakfast at hotel and that was excellent it also has a nice cosy bar

Nice for a few days
Overall a pleasant stay. A few niggles like silly sink in shower room which gives little room to fill your kettle and a shelf that gets in the way when washing. An inadequate system for breakfast constantly short of items and dishes to put one’s cereal in. We had a fantastic member of staff on our first morning (sorry didn’t get your name) but rest of the staff seemed in need of some personality. I personally found the bed very low so was the only stool in our room.

Lovely staff & great service
Staff were lovely, really friendly. Dusty windowframes, picture frames show cleaning isn't as fussy as it could be but wouldn't stop is going back

Cautiously recommended
A lovely hotel, in a great location, but seriously understaffed. We visited for a weekend and were initially impressed by the hotel. It looks good and has a cool vibe to it throughout. But, seriously disappointed in a number of areas. Basic requests, such as needing a TV remote, took over 24 hours. Lack of breakfast provision, is not acceptable. These issues, and others, could have been addressed very easily with adequate staffing. As a case in point, after our stay I contacted the hotel with a list of concerns prior to writing a review. Still awaiting any reply. If they can get service sorted then a great place, but until then I would be cautious.
