Paid ~$45 a night. For a 6 bed female dorm. I booked for 4 nights and called 7 days prior to change my booking to the 2nd 2 nights only and they wouldn’t let me as the change had to be made “before 7 days”. Overall, hostel is average and has a very commercial, impersonal atmosphere. Big kitchen and communal areas, but I did not meet any other guests who were keen to have a conversation. Even staff were very blunt, didn’t even ask me how my stay was when I checked out. A/C and fan in the room, and a bathroom in each dorm which is nice, but absolutely no amenities?! I couldn’t find anywhere to fill water, and not even hand soap?? The rooms are spacious, bunk beds are ok and made up on arrival, but little to no consideration for guests and their early wake ups - especially as most travellers will be waking at 5-6am for day trips onto the reef. There was a big party on the Friday night of my stay and music was BLASTING until 12am. The pub part is right next to the rooms so you can here EVERYTHING. No way to secure your luggage except in your own suitcase. Also hostel is on the outer side of town so unless you have a car it’s at least a 10-20min walk to get anywhere. They have a monopoly on budget accommodation in Exmouth. especially for solo travellers. I guess it shows.

Room was clean and tidy with Lots of room. Toilet was spacious Kitchen was clean and tidy. WiFi was absolutely awful. Worst WiFi

Hi there ,a few things need upgrading a bigger laundry facility more dryers and washing machines for the elderly I've stayed here a few times and things haven't really changed I'm definitely not putting this place down but the owners need to take a walk around and put themselves in a tourist shoes what would you like to have at your fingertips I better clothes line a must have a look at it ?? A bigger communal lounge with a nice size TV. Housekeeping staff need to smile and be friendly not just to there own culture.no judging people on appearances we are Australians we are better than that. There's a few things but I'll leave it up to the owners to see for themselves its pretty obvious I do love this place just want to see it lift the bar higher and higher

Location was great- we were in the units and it was a short stroll to go to the shops or dinner. Wasn’t fancy, but was very clean and had everything we needed. Accidentally left our AirPods there and staff found them and posted them for us. Can’t fault anything about this place.

Very old hotel, we upgraded to a 2 bedroom apartment, which was better than the budget room. No WiFi in apartment, only in common area's, which we did not use due to the location.
