If you are a photographer, like me, you will appreciate this location - right across the street from the rice terraces. Get up before sunrise and wander out in the terraces. Facilities are basic but clean, comfortable and quiet. Best for those with transportation.

I stayed in a 2nd floor room for a few nights recently. I thought that the rate was very very reasonable - perhaps because this is off season. Terrific value for $$’s! Wonderful ever-changing views from our balcony , and you could also access the rooftop area to capture those wonderful photographic panoramas of the mountains and rice fields. The room and bathroom areas were a very generous size, as was the very large king size bed, which was super comfortable . There was plenty of storage space , tea/coffee services were available in the room, the aircon was very efficient, and the only thing I really missed was not having a fridge! However, there is a communal fridge in the office if you wanted to store anything in the cool. The rooms aren’t serviced, but you can request more toilet paper, soap etc. Access to reception, which is on the 2nd floor, can only be gained by 2 steep sets of stairs, so this accommodation is more suited to guests who are steady in their feet, and aren’t incapacitated in any way. However, the staff will carry all your bags up (and down) for you. It truly was a fantastic location to stay with sweeping views across the fields. Highly recommend a few nights here. The only reason I didn’t give it 10/10 is due to there being no fridge. We stayed in the Wet Season, and some days there weren’t many tourist at all, and another day, bus loads, who fortunately were gone again by 5pm, leaving the area peaceful and quiet once more. There are quite a few restaurants, but only 2 that stay open after 17:00 (5pm). There’s also a minimart, but we were unable to find a massage salon in our location, nor an Apotek.. You can also hire bikes ( & electric ones) to get around, and there’s a choice of which trails are available for trekking - from short to long - at the start of the walk. I had injured my knee a few weeks prior, but was still able to manage both the steep steps at the hotel and one of the shorter walks with the aid of a walking stick. This area is a small slice of “heaven”!

I stayed here for a few nights very recently. It’s in a fabulous location with sweeping views across the mountains and valley. The price was amazingly cheap, great value for money, however it was the Wet Season. I imagine it’s a little more come tourist season, although we did note that a lot of tourists came by bus just for the day. We had a deluxe room on the 2nd floor, with a full length balcony and outdoor seating. The views of the mountains and valley were spectacular, especially watching sunrise looking towards Mt Agung! The room was very spacious as was the bathroom and bed, which was super comfortable. There were tea/coffee making facilities, an efficient aircon, loads of storage, a bidet sprayer, but no fridge. However you could storage items in their office fridge if needed. With reception being on the 2nd floor, one needs to be fit enough to climb the 2 flights of steep stairs to access the office, plus their room. There is no lift. Staff members will carry your luggage up and down the stairs for you. The rooms weren’t serviced but you could ask staff for more toiletries and coffee etc. There’s plenty of restaurants in the area, however only 2 stay open after 17:00 hours (5pm). Their is no restaurant facilities at the hotel, nor a swimming pool. I couldn’t find a spa massage salon nor an Apotek, but there’s a handy minimart there. If you had your own transport, I’m sure you wouldn’t have to go too far to find either. Bikes & eBikes are available for hire nearby. The reason I haven’t given The Adhi Jaya Suites a 10/10, is because there was no fridge. But in every other way it was perfect accommodation!!🌟 Highly recommend.

The property’s location was super great, 2 min walk from the Jatiluwih Rice Terraces entrance. Room was spacious and staff was attentive and responsive. Very happy with our stay.
