£149 for 2 uncomfortable beds in a cabin with no space to put anything. Only facility was a kettle and a tiny TV that didn't work. Toilets are shared and outside, and often you had to queue to use them. There was a hot tub that took up all the space on the deck but it had no water in it. Why not just have a nice table and chairs instead and a bbq? The showers were very hit and miss with one that was impossible to use - either dangerously scalding hot or stone cold with no in-between. I don't mind staying in basic accommodation but I do mind paying way over what it's worth. A real rip-off and I won't be staying again.

Cabins comfortable but the whole site in general needs an update, little rough around the edges.

A back to basics "glamping" cabin that does away with the needless fuss of towels, clothes hooks, clean floors, or a bin. The harsh fluorescent lighting was perfect for spotting the midges that had flown in through the open window and insecure insect net before we arrived. The smart TV offers a wide range of entertainment for rainy evenings should WiFi be made available at some point in the future. Enjoyed getting to know the neighbours while queuing for the 2 toilets available to 50+ guests - universal dissatisfaction with the quality of accommodation, decrepit facilities, and slow, inattentive customer service made small talk a breeze. Naturally, such an authentic, all expenses spared experience doesn't come cheap, a bargain at just £*** a night.

If you’re looking for the authentic “homeless in a rainstorm” experience, look no further. The cabin was so small I had to step outside just to change my mind. Dirty floors, barely enough room to swing a wet sock, and a mattress that felt like it had been stuffed with old trampoline springs. I’m fully expecting to wake up tomorrow with a coil spring lodged somewhere medically inconvenient. The pillows deserve a special mention. I don’t know what was inside them, but it certainly wasn’t pillow material. Felt like sleeping on a sack of mashed potatoes with a few bricks mixed in for support. The biggest joke? The toilet and shower facilities. Fancy a wee in the middle of the night? Brilliant. Just stick your waterproofs on and march 200 yards through the pissing Highland rain to a glorified porta-loo. Nothing says “relaxing stay” quite like battling the elements for a midnight dump. There weren’t even towels in the cabin when I arrived. Had to ask for them, and I half expected someone to appear with a card machine and charge me extra for the privilege. When I complained about the condition of the place, I was basically told, “We’re sold out, nothing we can do.” Fair enough, but being full doesn’t magically make a dirty, cramped cabin acceptable. I’ve walked miles on the West Highland Way carrying a rucksack, and somehow this cabin was the most uncomfortable part of the trip. Would I stay again? I’d sooner pitch a tent in a puddle and let the midges carry me away.
