This house is pretty suit for short journey person. Room ia quite old but staffs are very kind. Take a rest in this hotel.

To be honest when I say I would suggest it to family and friends I would be choosy which ones, the hotel is tired and really needs some maintenance, the room we had, had chipped skirting board , the window pane frames didn’t look like they had been cleaned in a while., and there were old Ill fitting nets on the window and roman blinds. The bathroom was nicely tiled with subway tiles and had a great shower, but it was let down with the stains on the vanity unit around sink and toilet, but by far the worst thing for me was the towels!! They were a long way off being called white, they were small , very old, hard and badly stained with other peoples make up! (Hence the reason i would not recommend to some friends without saying take your own towels). The staff we met were lovely and breakfast was very good. It’s a good 15 min walk to the other side of the bridge into town, we were fine with that. Would we go back probably not purely down to the towels and maintenance issues. It just needs some TLC and a good handyman! And new towels.

Spent four nights with my husband and upon check in, the staff was friendly and helpful. I didn’t have much interaction afterwards. The room and bathroom were clean and I especially enjoyed the shower. The room was quite small and had a rather Victorian touch. It was clean nevertheless so I didn’t mind it. It was located quite close to the train station and Sainsbury local was only an 8 minutes walk. My only concern was that it got cold really quick in room 2 where we stayed as the management seemed to turn the heating off very often. Couple times I woke up in the middle of the night for a pee and was totally freezing. The duvet was warm enough so not a problem if you like staying under the sheets all the time. Sadly, staff wasn’t readily available to complain to, so we had to call on the phone every time, meaning i got tired and decided to brace the cold instead. Other than that, it was pretty decent.

깨끗하고 위치 좋고 편안함 샴푸 헤어컨디셔너 둘 다 있음 체크인 시 문이 잠겨있고 벨도 눌렀지만 반응이 없어 당황했으나 전화하니 문 열어주셨음 엘리베이터 없으니 캐리어 무겁다면 주의 방이 좀 추움 가성비 좋아서 요크에 묵는다면 추천!

Stayed for 1 night, the room was nice and spacious and clean and had all the usual extras you would expect; kettle, tea/coffee etc. The en-suite bathroom was nice with a large shower. We had breakfast in the morning which consisted of fruits, yoghurts, cereal and a choice of cooked breakfasts which was lovely. The staff were very chatty and pleasant . The hotel itself is a good 10 to 15 walk from the train station depending how fast you walk. The main city centre is in the opposite direction past the train station so it would take longer to walk there. However, there are buses which are very frequent which we took there and walked back. I would recommend it due to it's close proximity to the train station which is very handy if travelling there by train.
