We arrived for valentines night, the rooms are so lovely, clean and fairly quiet. The food is amazing, staff very accommodating and friendly. We will be back again

The location was perfect for working on nearby railway and the rooms were spacious, clean, homely and well-maintained. Attentive housekeeping added to the comfort. Breakfast and meals were satisfying and the staff were friendly and helpful, making the overall experience very positive and worth the price.

I stayed here a couple of years ago , so I knew it was going to be alright . A proper country pub with lovely rooms (which include a light breakfast , cereals , yoghurt , fruit etc..) in a really nice location . Ipswich was only 8 minutes away by train , and the local station was just a stones throw from the hotel (although you hardly hear the trains from your room) . There's also a lovely beer garden to the rear , which we used on both evenings of our stay . Would definitely stay again if we were down that area 👍

Lovely hotel. Staff were very friendly. Room was comfortable and liked the continental breakfast options that were outside the room

A wonderful stay. Comfortable, friendly staff, excellent facilities. A real home from home. And the beer was good!
