Our stay at Rainbow Lodge was one of the greatest experiences we had in Cambodia as it gave us the opportunity to truly immerse ourselves in nature, without losing any comforts. Don’t look any further if you are into ecotourism, sustainability, and biodiversity. Our wooden house was amazingly clean and comfortable, the surroundings were incredible, and the food was super delicious (breakfast, lunch and dinner included in the price). You can also do hiking and kayaking tours at a reasonable cost. Swimming in Tatai waterfalls was perfect (especially after the jungle trek!) and kayaking all the way back to the lodge was extremely beautiful. Pi Room and Gee were the best hosts, eager to share their knowledge and passion on Cambodian wildlife and culture. They even offered us a night walk around the lodge to spot nocturnal species and were eager to wake up earlier so we could do some birdwatching (we spotted three species of hornbills and many other birds). Thank you for everything, it was simply great!

Perfect in all ways. It is a paradise for people looking for a place in the middle of nature without neglecting comfort!

It is a beautiful small lodge (7 bungalows) Excursions are very nice ( especially the boat and kayak in mangrove) The food is really good: fresh and tasty. Last but not least the team is fantastic: super friendly and efficient.

We stayed three nights at Rainbow Lodge Tatai River and enjoyed every minute. The rooms are spacious and clean. The beds are comfortable. The rooms have fans (no AC because the lodge is run on solar power) but this was more than enough for us - we did not even need the fans at night because it was so cool. The food was delicious. Our special request (not spicy because of the kids) was accomodated immediately. The lodge is run by a family. We felt very much at home and enjoyed the company and recommendations by the two managers Gee and Phearum. Our youngest also enjoyed playing with them which gave us se more time to relax. Thank you! We did two tours: 1. Trekking and boat ride to Tatai waterfalls with a refreshing swim and lunch and 2. Mangrove forest by boat incl kayaking through the mangroves. During our stay we have created memories our family will cherish. We plan to come back and will recommend to our friends to visit Rainbow Lodge at Tatai River. It is the perfect place for everyone who wants to explore nature in a comfortable environment with a team of staff who read the wishes from your eyes.
