Lovely room with comfortable bed, quality bedding and really nice bathroom. Excellent evening meal at the pub with friendly staff and attentive service. Downsides were the proximity to a busy main road so quite a lot of road noise in the room, the fact that breakfast wasn’t served before 9 o’clock which was too late for us and the very poor wi-fi signal - non-existent in the bedroom.

Good Value for Money
Lovely country pub with three en-suite rooms all very cosy and done to a high standard. Breakfast was excellent lots of choice and full English cooked to order. I would recommend it to anyone.

Can’t say enough about the lovely staff real lovely down to earth people food was out of this world and the room was very cozy had everything we needed there wasn’t anything i could of asked for a better stay would definitely stay again if not would definitely go for food thanks again everyone was a pleasure to stay in such a lovely place.

Gem of an Inn in the Countryside
We were so blessed to find this little Inn the the beautiful hills of Derbyshire, near Bakewell, & Buxton. The owners are lovely people.. they keep the property tidy & beautiful.. The restaurant is outstanding! Every bite of food I had was nothing short of delicious & a delightful treat to my taste buds! I didn't have the Lamb Chops, but they were BEAUTIFUL & appeared to have been melt in your mouth tender! I would recommend trying it out. If I were blessed enough live nearby I would be a frequent diner there!!
