Very convenient location - it is not in the center but Bus No. 31 will take you directly to the city center. The ticket costs 2 GBP and is payable contactless to the driver. The hotel has a nice restaurant, the food is good, I recommend it. I can only say about 2 downsides: the bathroom in the room is very cold and there is live music on Saturdays which makes it loud for the hotel guests. Other than that, it is a good value for money.

For people who don't mind or prefer staying away from the city and still connected by good public transport, this place is perfect. Set up in a kind of village, we liked it very much.

Location is 30 mins from city. But good point is just right in front of hotel. Using same credit card, one day bus company charge maximum 4.8 pounds. One trip is 2 pounds. Bad thing is no toiletries in restroom. No soap, no shampoo, no paper cup for mouthwash ect.

Located in the perfect spot, just outside of the city. While the inn is old and not for the posh traveler, it is ideal for someone looking for a genuine experience. The staff was incredible and made the experience all the better. I will never stay anywhere else in Edinburgh.
