Very basic accommodation but ok for one night. I have stayed a couple of times before, a few years ago the pub stayed open late and served breakfast as part of it's price but since covid it's changed ownership. The room we stayed in this time is the same one as a year ago and there are things that still haven't been addressed since my last stay (the shower leaks and floods the bathroom) Like I said it's great for one night now and again. The rooms could do with some TLC. Also this weekend the pub weren't serving food which was a shame. We ate at the wonderful Fresh Fox cafe next door, highly recommended.

very good location
located at the cusp of cornwall and devon it is an ideal place for exploring. room was quite big. My only disappointment was the very tiny tv in a corner which was very uncomfortable to watch. staff were quite friendly and polite

Staff were lovely
Staff were lovely but the room wasn’t very clean and the bathroom needs a deep clean. It suited for the 2 nights that we just needed a bed to sleep in.

Only stayed there to sleep. Didn't realise also have live music Friday and Saturday nights
