Exceptionally close to Blenheim. No parking on site but found street parking nearby. We arrived right on 5pm so staff were pretty keen to leave and did not really explain facilities well at all as they were keen to leave. Lots of character. Had a lovely large room but view of the bin area where unfortunately workers were noisily smashing up boxes and working in the very early hours next morning. Having said that we were quite comfortable and warmly welcomed to breakfast in the morning by our hosts!

Plenty of character, top location, beats the competition on value for money. Breakfast has limited choice, and only filter coffee, but acceptable.

we stayed 2 nights. Location great. Bedding and towels clean. Only one toilt roll left with a few sheets on so had to request another. No soap in dispenser - bathroom sink. Dispenser for soap in shower didnt work - requested to be fixed - not done. Only one cup left on tea tray so had to request another. Strong smell of drains in en-suite. Window was open at bottom - could not shut as wood was bolted to sill.

Room was comfortable, with bottled water, tea, coffee and biscuits provided. Bed was very creaky, which we reported to the housekeeper, who undertook to get it checked, by sleeping in that room herself that night! Also shower gel dispenser not working properly, which I reported and we were advised it would be dismantled, cleaned and refitted. Breakfast was OK, rather dry, but my wife requested a second cup of decaffeinated coffee and we were charged £6, as only the first cup was included and this would normally be caffeinated. Rather disappointing.

Lovely stay in such a lovely location. The staff were lovely making my stay even more pleasant.
