Manulalu Jungle

Our room is stunning both inside and out. The view of Mt. Inerie from the back balcony is breathtaking. There is hot water in the shower with good pressure, and the beds are very comfortable. Our only disappointment was with the restaurant. They were missing several items on the menu, even one day only serving bland nasi goreng to all customers. During the two nights we spent there, the kitchen staff was slow to respond and the portions were very small, especially considering the price. The first night we asked for sei babi after seeing they had it on the pizza menu. They accommodated that and we were grateful for the tasty treat. However everything else we served was not what we were expecting. It’s a great spot for a warm tea after a cold day and the sunset view over the volcano. But, if you’re out and about in Bajawa, there are more affordable a tasty restaurants available. All in all, we actually wish we had more time to spend here. What a lovely oasis.

We stayed here on our way to Labuan Bajo as we were riding by bike from Maumere. The setting was beautiful. Staff were extremely friendly. Room service was great as it was from the local cafe Heavens Door which I can’t recommend enough. The views from this cafe are amazing. Breakfast is provided from this cafe too. Overall a great experience. Hot water for the shower was a little cool and no electricity in the morning however this did not impact our stay at all. I would recommend it.

For senior age, it was a little difficult to reach the villas, but it is a good place for healing, and the atmosphere is very beautiful. I love it. ❤️

Our bungalow's cleanliness was so pathetic. Dusty, smelly, and when we got there the wooden rack with cups and plates even fell off from the wall and broke into pieces due to a very low maintenance. The wooden rack was old and not strong enough anymore to be used. The restaurant is 1km away from the resort and hardly walkable at night because it was very dark. The mattress on our terrace couldnt be used, it was dirty, dusty, and had stained on it. There were many insects in and outside the bungalow and the resort provided us with an empty can of insect sprayer 🥲 Actually the resort is a good one, located deep in the jungle (around 35 mins drive from Bajawa city) with a magnificent scenery. If only the management gave extra more attention to the cleanliness of the resort, it would be a very beautiful place to stay

Nous avons passé trois nuits à Manulalu Jungle et avons apprécié notre séjour! Jamie est à l’écoute et disponible! La chambre est belle, fonctionnelle et offre une terrasse incroyable avec vue sur la vallée, la mer de Suva au loin, les villages traditionnels et surtout le Gunung Inierie! Magique! Seul bémol, le restaurant de l’hôtel est éloigné et pas pratique à rejoindre lorsqu’on est à pied. La livraison est heureusement possible mais payante.
