The place was overall clean and tidy. However, I was directed to use the smallest of the three available shower rooms, which was just big enough to stand in. It was a bit cramped when bending to change clothes and not very well-ventilated, but still acceptable. The sleeping area was combined with the living room, separated only by a curtain. This means that if someone is watching TV or chatting in the living room, you’ll hear everything in your “room.” During my stay, some acquaintances (possibly family) of the host were in the living room watching TV and talking until 11:30 p.m. My bed was also next to a shop window with no soundproofing, so I could hear all the passing traffic, making it hard to sleep. At 6:30 a.m., they were up again, taking showers, having breakfast, and chatting. I ended up checking out early, feeling that sleeping in my car might have been a quieter and more comfortable option. I’ve stayed in many dormitory-style accommodations during my years of solo travel, and this was a unique experience. Perhaps it was just an isolated incident, but if the place were quieter, it would be a pretty good spot to stay.

Had the place all by myself at times as there were no one there during the night. But am wondering if the CCTV at the hallway is working coZ I might have been improperly dressed as I thought no one was there. Anyhow... Will definitely stay here again when in Perlis
