This family-owned paradise is being managed in the most sustainable, personal and professional way you can imagine. Management and staff make all you wishes come true, they arrange what is possible. We had fantastic snorkling, scooter drive, private cinema on the beach and airport shuttle service. The restaurant, situated on the infinity pool side with beach view, has a great menu, a wide range of both eastern as western. Very good quality. The secret of Catappa Village is for sure personal contact. Both father and son are visionairies. Lombok is the new Bali. With a brand new airport, new ferry connections, you should hurry and go there. It is a place with a soul, and it is feeding yours. Christine and family.

We were the only guests here for four nights, since it was low season. The property is beautiful and very well kept, garden, beach and so on. How raw material is used is also incredible, stones, bamboo, etc. The staff was busy renovating the pool side - that obviously needed some work, so there was a lot going on while we were trying to relax and enjoy the peace, but I guess this type of work needs to take place at some point so low season makes sense. This accomodation was the most expensive one we booked on our 3+ weeks of travelling whole of Lombok so our expectations were certainly high. The bungalow was the most beautiful one we have stayed in, and the surroundings was beautiful as well, the private movie nights on the beach and snorkelling trips to the gilis were 👌 the beach in front was very clean and full of sea shells and corals for endless playing and making sandcastles. Note that there are no nice walking/hiking routes from the accommodation . If you walk a little bit along the beach, it’s just garbage, garbage, garbage and some friendly locals. We think breakfast should have been included given the price, and since you can’t go anywhere else for food or prep in your room ( no equipment or cutlery). The food at the restaurant was good - but since the place is so secluded we had to buy all our food there. A fridge in the room would have been great, however they provided lots of drinking water. Note that the pools and showers don’t have fresh water but heated salt/seawater. Also there is no wi-fi in the bungalows, only in the common area/restaurant. Beware, if you are afraid of dogs that there are loose dogs at the property. Our youngest child is very afraid of dogs and they were playing pretty rough and barking at him so he freaked out again and again. We tried to ask the staff to keep him away but somehow he was always there. Otherwise the staff was very helpful and the boat service great! We totally recommend this place for a (very)secluded getaway. The sunrise and sunset are beautiful here!

Es una experiencia recomendable para una desconexión. El personal es excepcional y sus dueños también. Llevan poco tiempo abiertos y seguro que mejorarán algunos detalles como el agua caliente para ser un Resort Top. Igualmente recomiendo.

Among hundreds of accommodations I've stayed in the past, Catappa Village is my #1. The owner Adi and his team made every minute of my time there beyond fantastic. I felt at home, always taken care of, and secure. The beach in front is entirely private. It's once in a lifetime experience. I will definitely go back though! It's one of the most beautiful and secluded places on earth. I should have kept this secret! Whoever found this review, enjoy your stay. Meet Adi, he's the best.
