I was down for a wedding, the venue is great value for money much cheaper then others around by, room was clean and tidy, breakfast was good. And staff were lovely

The staff were great as to checking in and ordering me a taxi very helpful.. You have to prebook for a return as far and few between taxis to get as I was told. As to location I used it to get to another location as for a party which was 2 miles away. Car parking free and was space although there is another pub in the same driveway with shared parking which is located along the river. I got a good deal as to being around the queens jubilee so the price was a bargain compared, excluded breakfast. Had a double bed on suite bathroom /shower tea and coffee in the room with a kettle. Bed was comfortable and clean. Room a bit dated but it served my purpose. My bedroom faced the main road noise not too bad as being in a village. And it is a pub in which rooms are above. Only negative thing was the shower which was a fixed rail, which is ok for short people as me being 6ft I could not stand in the bath upright, so awkward as to not banging your head. I had king cooked breakfast In the morning even tho it was nice, I thought it was expensive at £10 something. Apart from that it served its purpose and I stayed one night.
