Large room, but a bit dated
This room was very cheap, so I guess you get what you pay for. We had the large front facing room, sadly couldn't get any hot water in the shower, but the sink next to it was warm. My daughter was in the room at the back and the bathroom door handle came off. Luckily a spoon opened the latch. The location was great, right in the centre of the town. Also they didn't do food in this inn, so we had to go out for breakfast.

Cheap but run down
Was not a great place to stay. The toilet flusher did not work, there was a lot of noise till around 4am in the morning and the room and bathroom was not clean to the extent I slept in my clothes on top of the covers and waited to get home to shower. I would never return.

Pleasure to stay
Really good location and lovely little pub. Staff were really friendly and the room was perfectly priced for what you’re getting. Nice and clean and comfy bed, thank you!

Below average
We stayed in room 1 which was on the top floor. No double glazing, right above the beer garden so it was loud until late on. The whole room was on a slant which meant the bed also was. You felt like you had to keep yourself from falling out. Poorly decorated, paint just slapped on, pubes on the bathroom floor near the toilet, this was seen upon arrival. As we had plans, we dropped our luggage off and went straight back out. The pictures on the website shows nice looking rooms, obviously this one isnt in the photos. Bed linen was clean and fresh which is the only positive. Even the kettle the following morning for a coffee, it tasted metallic. If i wasn't too tired I would have made the 4 hour journey back home that night
