Severn View Hotel

Housekeeping left much to be desired. Hotel should include information in its booking site that towels n toiletries would NOT be changed daily although the staff agreed to replace the used towels upon request. The towel rail in the bathroom was broken. The only consolation was the large size of the room and the large public carpark behind the hotel

Clean, staff are very friendly, good views. Would definitely recommend

Filthy room covered under cobwebs and dust. No hot water whatsoever & noone to contact. Tea provided but no cup to drink from. During the night an intruder tried to walk into my room through 2 supposedly securely locked doors.Disgusting: I would have demanded my money backhave demanded a refund if a member of staff could have been contacted. Twice during the night a huge man jumped up and down on the ceiling . Why pay to have your sleep disrupted?

Paid for room and went to check in to be refused saying we hadn't paid, and he was going out so wouldn't hang around ended up having to find somewhere else to stay

Rooms and landings are run down and need refurbishment.
