Severn View Hotel

Housekeeping left much to be desired. Hotel should include information in its booking site that towels n toiletries would NOT be changed daily although the staff agreed to replace the used towels upon request. The towel rail in the bathroom was broken. The only consolation was the large size of the room and the large public carpark behind the hotel

Clean, staff are very friendly, good views. Would definitely recommend

Paid for room and went to check in to be refused saying we hadn't paid, and he was going out so wouldn't hang around ended up having to find somewhere else to stay

Rooms and landings are run down and need refurbishment.

The Severn isn't particularly good at anything, we just used it as a base and if you aren't looking for somewhere to spend a large amount of time it's good. You can make a hot drink and the bed was comfy and clean.
