스톤하우스 코트 호텔

Stayed as visiting family In the area. I was a bit worried due to some other bad reviews I had read regarding the decoration and state of the rooms but was very pleasantly surprised. Our room overlooked the garden and river and appeared to be completely refurbished. Everything you could need was there. The only issue was the temperature of the water in the shower as it was only luke warm. We reported on checkout and it didn't spoil our stay. We also arrived at 2pm as per agoda's confirmation of checkin time to be told this was wrong and it wasn't until 3pm. Luckily the receptionist found us a room after 10 minutes but it would be helpful if the information stated was correct.

Too many stairs and no lifts. Nightmare for me. Room was tiny and the bathroom had nowhere to put anything except the window sill. Very disappointing. I have to stress that restaurant and breakfast staff were very kind and helpful.

The staff are incredibly helpful and polite. Great value for money to stay, although the drinks are quite expensive. Food is very good! Location fabulous if you need to get back on the motorway quickly the next day. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is because there was a stain on the bed sheets. It was only small but I'm very fussy. We'd definitely stay there again.

One outside heater? Expensive to eat in the restaurant

Part of a small wedding group and everything was perfect. The staff make this hotel as well as the setting. Would highly recommend
