This place is in a good spot if you have a car. We didn’t expect much from the room rate we paid but then we found out after check-in that it included breakfast and the hotel has a swimming pool and a gym. Wow!! Breakfast was pretty good and the breakfast lady was very friendly and helpful. One of the best breakfast we haven’t had from any other hotels for a big while. The room itself was okay. Our shower room had a leak from the floor so water kept coming out whenever we showered even we closed the glass door. The hotel door and walls were thin. We could hear the activities outside even our door was closed. But it did not bother us because we spent most of the time outside of the hotel anyway. We enjoyed breakfast, good bed, and the pool.

Very clean and comfortable. The bathroom was very pretty, excellent showers. Breakfast was very good, with hot food optios. We thought the beds were a bit small. Snow and ice removal from the sidewalks and parking lot could have used more attention

Really enjoyed our stay, the hotel was clean and the staff were friendly. The room was spacious and had everything we needed. The free breakfast was wonderful, 3 hot items and a mixture of other breakfast items. The pool area was clean and well maintained. Such a wonderful hotel and i'm sure we will return.

A total disaster and complete lack of maintenance—Do not stay here!Rating: 1/5 ⭐I am extremely disappointed and frustrated with my recent experience at The Hotel Saratoga, an Ascend Hotel Collection member. This establishment completely failed to honor our booking and provided an unacceptable standard of accommodation.We explicitly booked a spacious 44 m² room, but upon arrival, we were shoved into a tiny room of only about 20 m². After I went back to the front desk to lodge a formal complaint about this massive downgrade, we were upgraded to a suite. However, the new room was a safety hazard and a nightmare:Severe structural neglect: Pieces of plaster were literally falling from the ceiling.Awful smell: The entire room had a strong, sickening odor of mold and mildew.Broken amenities: The shower mixer valve was completely broken, making it unusable.Zero basic supplies: There wasn't a single glass or piece of tableware available in the room.To make matters worse, this is clearly a systemic issue for this hotel. While I was standing in line, the customer right behind me was also demanding to change rooms due to problems with their accommodation. The property is riddled with far too many maintenance and quality control problems.The absolute only saving grace of our stay was the young woman working at the front desk. She was professional, empathetic, and genuinely tried her best to satisfy us and fix the situation. Unfortunately, her great customer service cannot compensate for a decaying, poorly managed property.I strongly advise travelers to avoid this hotel until management decides to invest in basic maintenance and respect their guests' bookings.
