Bassa nova villa

Good vibes and architecture. Sadly the water heater is not work well, the floor is not really clean and no slippers, some facilities like small pool on the 2nd floor is not working, and the restaurant is closed during our visit. We have small argue with the staff regarding our bfast, but they can accommodated it well. Overall good service and we happy to stay here, just need to fix the facilities and management.

Location: Not beachfront but they have pool Facilities: Bar & Resto - temporarily closed due to business permit issues, not a big hotel, so not crowded. They offer free breakfast, silog or sandwich with coffee. Not bad for the hotel price.

The location is just along the highway which made it very convenient. The property also has motor rental which we also availed. The staff are friendly. The ambiance is also relaxing. Over all it was a good place to stay and it is recommended.

Imagine arriving past sunset to a dark hotel because their business permit has expired. This hotel needs to give their guests a guide so they know what to expect upon arrival. 1. POOR COMMUNICATION I guess no owner wants to let their incoming guests know that they have to temporarily stop operations because they didn't renew their business permit on time, but a heads up would have been nice so we would know what to expect once we get there, like making a reservation or ordering food before getting to their hotel. Most establishments in the area close at 9pm, with good restaurants full and with a queue before 7pm. Had we known that their restaurant would be closed we could have made reservations elsewhere before dropping our things off. 2. Staff No complaints with their staff. They have been very kind and accommodating of our requests. They even assisted us in booking our tricycles so we can go around the island. They also knew the good places to eat since Bassa's restaurant was closed the entirety of our stay. However during breakfast (which we had to have in our rooms because of their expired business permit), there's a bit of shortage of drinking water - they ran out of pitchers and glasses so we had to get those ourselves, using the tumblers we brought with us as glasses. 3. Very dark at night We arrived a little after sunset to a DARK HOTEL, with only the front desk lit. I have tripped multiple times just to get to the front desk because it was so hard to see where we were walking. Our room was on the second floor, and while there was an overhead light, it was still difficult to navigate - especially with an elderly companion. Unfortunately, because their business permit expired, they can't turn the lights on. 4. Rust stains on sheets, clogged showers, irregular water pressure, and a broken bidet These can be fixed quickly. Personally don't think the owner is unaware of these issues, especially a broken bidet, yet here we are. Doing number 2 was so inconveni

Staffs are always smiling and they are also accommodating! Ambiance is excellent and price worthy! 💯👌🏼
