Hakata Lejja Hotel

Неплохой вариант, локация не очень удобная, пришлось сильно сворачивать с дороги до тораджи. И дорога до отеля была тяжелой, не самое лучшее покрытие, много ям. Отель уютный, но с утра нас разбудили дети, бегающие по холлу, не очень приятно.

Extremely friendly and endlessly helpful staff (usually a crew of three women: receptionist, general guest relations, and cook). Stunning location with views of the countryside and mountains. Delicious dinner freshly cooked every night. However... the hotel needs quite a lot of general maintenance in small matters, and some deep cleaning. For example, decorations and furniture are broken and need fixing; the shower leaked; the sealing strip on the bottom of the door was coming off; paint is scuffed and scratched; curtains are hanging off some of their hooks; outside furniture is either rusty (if metal), or very weathered (if wood), etc.--small niggles that let down the property. Also, some deep cleaning is needed. In the room I had there were piles of dead insects and spider webs that looked as if they had been lying there for ever. In the public (hallway) toilets, the whole thing was sprayed with water from the bidet attachment, and there was no toilet paper. Balcony floors do not seem to receive any cleaning and washing. I had a super time, but the place would be even better if these small maintenance and cleaning issues were addressed on a regular and comprehensive basis. Also, if very few guests are staying, it would be much better to offer them a freshly cooked breakfast (eggs on toast, fruit, etc.) rather than prepare a buffet that then sits there for a long time before anybody rocks up to eat it.

Absolutely loved our stay! The shuttle bus service was super convenient, the view was breathtaking, and the staff were unbelievably friendly! 10/10 would come back.
