I had high expectations for this resort because of its strong reviews and the fact that several well-known celebrities have visited. Overall, the experience was still very good, and I would rate it 9 out of 10. The Bali-inspired concept was impressive and really made it feel like you were outside the Philippines. In terms of service, I would give it an 8 out of 10. This may have been influenced by the low number of guests during our stay. Requests, such as for water, were handled quickly, and the staff were consistently friendly, greeting us whenever we passed by. The complimentary breakfast was just okay, with limited options. The highlights were the lomi and the hot chocolate. However, one downside was that used plates were not cleared promptly, and we ended up placing them ourselves on a nearby service station tray. One of the main reasons we chose this resort was for its water facilities, which are advertised as being great for kids. Unfortunately, this was a letdown. The lazy river and several water features were not operating during our stay. Additionally, many of the pools were not well maintained. Outdoor showers, pool fountains, spouts, and jets—especially in the larger pools—were not functioning, making the overall pool experience feel dull and not as advertised.

Highland Bali Review
Friendly and very helpful staff, rooms are clean with very spacious bathroom, good amenities. Though we were allowed to book 4 ATVs but the next day, only 2 were available so we decided not to proceed. Food are good but a bit pricey. Overall, our stay was enjoyable.
