An enjoyable stay due to the warmth of the hosts and although the weather was not the best it did not prevent us enjoying the area and the cruise up the Gordon River. The olde world nature of the building and the garden surrounds were positives.

Memorable stay
Ormiston House wasn't just another place to stay the night- it was a whole experience. Beautiful old house, hosts with a smile, breakfast included and included the story of the house told beautifully by the hosts. Thanks so much Rose and Terry for sharing your house.

Seen better days
This lovely old house is in serious need of repair . It was raining whilst we were there and the guttering is rusted so rain was coming into the verandah . Our bedroom “ Amelia” had wallpaper peeling off . The exterior paint is peeling - so sad to see the grand old house in decline .
