Bay's Inn Resort

The location is the best, easy access to all - beach, boardwalk, restaurants, cafe, museum, tourist spots, bank, shops, church and transportation, everything is walkable if you prefer that even at night because people here are very nice. Baler has many street dogs also but no worries because like the people they are nice as well, docile and chill but better beware for your own safety, the only downside is the limited light posts so it gets very dark at night so I suggest you do the walking before sunset to enjoy the sceneries and surrounding nature. The hotel offers buffet style breakfast (mostly local cuisine ) and they also have their own coffee corner and restaurant open for everyone. They also have a pool located at the 2nd floor of the building overlooking the vast ocean of Baler. The staffs in Bays Inn are professional, easy to talk to and can answer to requests within reason and very proactive helps you with your luggage, offers complimentary drinks and greet guests everytime. They keep the facilities and vicinity clean as the hotel is located in front of the beach it is inevitable for some sands or dirt to reach the grounds but the staff make sure to keep it as tidy as possible. They have a lift but only used it once because it moves very slowly since there's no ventilation it can get hot fast.The hotel room we stayed at is typical in size not big but not too small, bathroom is good for 1 person only so you have to use it one at a time, its located at the 4th floor with a small vertical window with a sea view just a glimpse can make the stay more cozy and relaxing unlike other rooms with no window at all can feel claustrophobic. The hot water is intermittent though. We haven't had the chance to use the WIFI but the signal strength is weak within the surrounding area. Parking is also available free of charge. One of the best things about this hotel is that they allow pets inside so pet parents can enjoy together with their fur babies worry free.

The overall stay was good, and the breakfast was satisfying. However, the hotel staff always recommended using the stairs instead of the elevator, even though our room was on the 4th floor. This was inconvenient, especially considering the room rate. The swimming pool also needs better maintenance. The water had visible algae and did not appear as clean as the pools at nearby hotels. Overall, the hotel has its positive points, but the room rate is too expensive considering the inconvenience of having to climb to the 4th floor and the condition of some of the facilities. I hope the management will address these issues to improve the guest experience.

One of the hotels with the best location. It is located at the beach front. Room was quite small, but decent and clean. Unfortunately, there were no slippers available during our stay. The towel rack in the bathroom is dislodged already. The staff are very nice, attentive and accommodating.

We had a good stay. The staff are very friendly and kind. The cost is a lot cheaper than most hotels in the area. They have wifi so that's a good thing.
