Wait there for long time for staff come to send keys for check in, no staff in this hotel, really worst toilet

This comment are not about the Hotel O Pulau ketam inn. The owners help us change the room to LionSea Hotel which locate near the port. It's grateful for the changes as the Hotel O looks quite oldies. However, in LionSea hotel, the room not attached with private bathroom. One big toilet share with others at outside. The toilet are creeping. It's dark and old. Very scary especially night time. But not even bright while morning time. Drinking water machine is infront the toilet. But I no dare to drink, because the filter looks like chocolate colour. In the room, the air-conditioning remote control are malfunction. Not able control the temperature, so it's very cold whole night. Might due to peak seasons, the cleaner not clean the room properly. We found towels that already used left behind the door.

The Sea Lion Hotel and Hotel O Pulau Ketam Inn on Agoda are listed together, and they use the images of the two different hotels to confuse consumers. Hotel O Pulau Ketam Inn is very bad, with old facilities and an unpleasant environment. The hotel owner tries to combine these two different hotels to confuse consumers into booking. When trying to argue this, both Agoda customer service and the hotel ignored the issue, and Agoda did not require the hotel to correct the photos of the different rooms. On Agoda, you will see the neat and clean rooms of Sea Lion Hotel, but when you check in, they will tell you that Sea Lion Hotel is only the check-in counter, and that the customer actually booked Pulau Ketam Inn. This is serious misleading and false information. The hotel itself admits that many people misunderstand and book incorrectly, but they deliberately operate this way. It is recommended that you avoid this hotel.

There is no WiFi provide in this property as claimed. No hot water for drinking. Not properly maintained. For Cleanliness I would like to give zero star.

I booked a couple room. The photos online looked good, bright, and clean. Upon arrival, I followed the inn's sign upstairs. The view upstairs was the same as in the photos. (I won't go into detail here, but there was confusion at check-in; couldn't find the counter, no signs directing guests where to go or who to contact for check-in). Finally, we had to go to the Sealion counter to check-in and get the keys. The owner told us our room was downstairs, with a Johnson banner in front, next to the door (near the Jiajia restaurant). Following the owner's directions, we found the door. Upon opening it, we were greeted by a dimly lit corridor. A sense of unease crept over me. Okay, no problem, just turn on the lights. After turning on the lights, we found the room, which was the last one, and once again, unease crept over me. Upon opening the door, a strong smell of dust hit us, the room was very old! There were even cobwebs hanging from the ceiling. The layout of the bathroom was also very uncomfortable. This room was completely different from the photos online! We couldn't stay for even a second, it was impossible to imagine spending a night there, what might happen all night? This experience, this room, ruined the whole mood of the trip. We wanted to go home immediately, but it was late and there were no boats back, so we decided to take our luggage out and tell the owner we wanted to switch to a room upstairs! Luckily, there were still rooms available. Although it was a 4-person room with an extra charge, we didn't hesitate to switch! The room we switched to was several times better than the previous one, and we slept peacefully for one night. We hurriedly checked out the next morning and went home.
