I originally booked Aluna for 4 nights and ended up staying 11, so overall I was obviously very happy there. The location is great, not directly on the beach, but just one road behind it, only a few minutes walk away. After dark the walk can feel a little creepy at first, but you get used to it. The hotel itself was lovely, the room was comfortable and the housekeeping team was absolutely amazing. Breakfast staff were also great and overall I felt very comfortable there. My only real disappointment was organising taxis and trips through reception. The prices I was quoted (especially by one female receptionist), were often more than twice what I could arrange nearby, for example €60 versus around €25 for the same kind of taxi, without any negotiation. In the end I organised all my transport and trips through another nearby hotel, where my friends had previously stayed. Also, the rooms can be a bit noisy if you have loud neighbours, or if there is a music night in the hotel. I worked remotely and what was the most important for me, the WiFi worked perfectly. Overall, a really good stay and I would happily stay again.
