Pepos Xul-Ha

I'll start with the positive side: It's a beautiful location right on the Lagoona, the huts are cute & it is affordable for the moderate to higher spending traveler. The NEGATIVE side: if you like new-er fluffy towels, faucets that half broken and shower heads that don't trickle out water because the taps and faucet are calcified because they don't use a filter the calcium rich water. The other thing was the prevailing smell of sewer because much of Mexico doesn't install proper plumbing and doesn't have to abide by certain code by-laws or they just get with it. The huts are very quaint and small so don't expect a lot of room to unpack your things. The hut is tidy enough but needs much improvement like the foot sized holes that have NOT been replaced properly. The lounge area needs better furnishings -as the sofas are very dingy. I think the owner if not upkeeping very well at all, especially with the amount he/she is probably receiving from their guests. I did appreciated the quiet atmosphere and there are some kayaks. Thank you

We had a very nice stay here. Unfortunately we only had one eavening, but we could easyli have spent the entire next day relaxing at the beautifull lagoon! The staff was helpfull and very nice! Totally recomendable if you are a couple trawelling! :)
