This is the best in town. Booked it just an hour before check-in, after having a bad experience at some other resort nearby. Everything was smooth. The front desk girl was real sweet. The GM is an absolutely fun person to talk with, and the person we appreciate and loved the most is Rahul at the restaurant desk. Such a sweet young boy, enthuasiastic about his work. What to talk of his yumm Tomato chatni we requested and he made it in the perfect way, all by himself. Rahul is so polite and dedicated towards his work, always ready to do the extra bit. Whole staff is commemdable.

This resort was a perfect fit during our visit to Chikmagalur. Location wise it was outside the city towards the main sight seeing locations such as Mullayangiri, Baba Budangiri and various other falls. The rates were competitive and it had every facility which typically a resort should have. Easy to reach the location and next to the main road few kilometers away from the Kaimara checkpost which is the main landmark to visit the sightseeing spots. Staffs were extremely courteous and helpful. You have option for in room dining and Ala Carte menu in their inhouse cafe & restaurant. The package includes a buffet breakfast with a reasonably good spread, free wifi, free snacks & fruit basket. Room was very big with king size bed and all other basic amenities were there. The property also has a mid size swimming pool along with a large water sports/rides facility. I feel the resort has much more potential and can be maintained better.

Too many loose ends. Firstly they did not receive a booking confirmation from Agoda. But they had a room. This room’s washroom had a problem. It was stinking continuously inspite of getting it deep cleaned again n again. I think must be some drainage issue. Secondly we had booked with a dinner plan. The options given are very limited and definitely not upto the mark for a 4star rating. The food is just about ok. Also the restaurant staff tends to make mistakes. We had ordered something but got something else instead and that too twice on two separate days. They really need to work on this aspect. I personally feel for the price we paid, we dint get that kind of hospitality. Apart from this the property is well maintained. Cleanliness in the lobby and outdoor is good. The desk staff is very attentive and responds quickly. The property looks attractive but something is a miss. I think a little bit of attentiveness is required.

Had a wonderful stay at Global Village Luxury Resort, Chikkamagaluru. Excellent place for a family vacation. The family room was spacious, comfortable and very well maintained. The resort has great amenities for both adults and kids — especially the water park, swimming pool and open grounds to play and relax. Breakfast was very good with plenty of options and good quality food. The indoor games area was also excellent, with activities like table tennis and foosball keeping everyone engaged. Overall, the resort is in a beautiful location with a peaceful atmosphere and is a great choice for a relaxing family getaway in Chikkamagaluru.

I recently stayed at this hotel and had an overall good experience. The check-in process was smooth and the staff was polite and helpful. However, the room cleanliness was not up to the mark. It felt somewhat unclean, which impacted the comfort of the stay. This is an area the hotel should definitely improve. The location of the hotel is convenient, and the food was decent.
