Jesselton Quay by Pinstay

Adding cleaning services would benefit the property. Upon booking, i was charged certain amount for Cleaning Services Fee but not sure what was it for since evrything was done by ourselves including getting the trash out. The room was not properly cleaned upon check in especially the floor since some crumble can be seen under the bed and rooms smell not fresh . But, apart from the cleanliness, the location, staffs, facilities and amenities are all excellent.

Our stay at this property was overall enjoyable, offering great value for money. The location was convenient, providing easy access to nearby attractions and amenities. The cleanliness of the property could have been better, as we noticed a few areas that needed attention. However, the staff were friendly and helpful throughout our stay, which added to the positive experience. The facilities were decent, although the pool could have been better as too crowded. The Wi-Fi connection was strong, allowing us to stay connected, and the availability of hot water ensured a comfortable stay. Despite a few areas for improvement, we would recommend this property for those looking for a budget-friendly option in a convenient location.

It was a great location, ocean view, quite nearby to Suria Sabah shopping mall. What convenient thing is to have lots of cafe, eateries and 247 mart open that is very needed. For cleanliness, our duvet cover was dirty when we checked in. Eventhough we didnt stay for a whole day in, because we were busy going out. However, we were charged for dirty sheets but we paid RM40 because we didnt report it as well. We love the place, but double check for sheets cover next time

The place has 2 rooms with 2 queen bed and 1 bathroom. plus a sofa bed in the living room. as it has only 1 bathroom, it think it will be uncomfortable for a group who are not families but for us it was ok. there is electric kettle but the instruction is in chinese words along with the multicooker but the multicooker is easier to use as i just need to turn knob to switch it on but the keetle a bit difficult as you need to choose the programme. the gym only consist of 2 treadmills and 2 cycles only =(. WIFI was bad. we didnt mind at first as our tentative were full as well so we were out the whole day but at night when we want to upload pictures, we have difficulties with the internet line, the pinstay management only able to send the maintenance people on the fourth day of our stay. ok, the good part. the swimming pool is large. the depth is just nice. looks like infinity pool if not many people are there. view is superb. able to see many aeroplane passing through. distance to city centre is nice. jesselton point was walking distance from our stay. as my family loves history, we went to the sabah state mosque, sabah state library, KK city mosque, sabah state museum and Universiti Malaysia Sabah. overall, i will say the place was great but with a bit improvement it could be excellent.

It's a good stay. But one disappointment. no WiFi. Asked the staff to fixed it since the first day check in but until check out it wasn't fixed.
