With this place, you get what you pay for, but it's quaint and a fine place to stay before visiting the park. My guide, Roy, was a superstar and very informative. Me and my friend had an absolutely wonderful stay at Tangkoko Lodge! The facilities are beautiful and clean and the staff is super friendly and knowledgable. We did the Tarsier walk in the evening and saw Gursky's spectral tarsiers, then went on the day walk the next day and saw a coconut snake, tarantula, green back kingfisher, Ashy woodpecker, Azure-Rumped Parrot, local squirrel, great-billed kingfisher, black macaques. Apart from the stunning Jungle of the Nationalpark, the village is lovely and the black sand beach located in a big bay incredibly beautiful! We loved the big waves in the winter months, but it was advised to come back in summer to have a better swim + snorkel experience. I would definitely come back and can highly recommend Tangkoko Lodge as a place to stay! Thank you for everything! Anna & Jenni

We enjoyed our stay here, the meals were great and affordable , and the staff were very friendly. While the room was clean, we had some creepy crawlies flying in from the toilet and would recommend adding an insect net there to prevent things from flying in from outside. Apart from that, we enjoyed our stay here and it is very close to the national park :)

Near the park, nice room and staff. Very good guide. At this price, you can't ask for better.
