Lorenso Cottage

I stayed Lorenso for 17 days during the year-end holidays. This is a bungalow with a 90's vibe that's rare these days. The location is amazing: after swimming for 50 m from the beach, you will find endless coral reefs that drop off to 50m deep. The facilities are primitive so it is recommended for the following peopleː -Budget travelers and backpackers -Travelers who prioritize scenery over convenience -Travelers who enjoy inconvenience

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Lorenso Cottage! If you are looking for perfection and luxury stay elsewhere… if you are wanting an authentic experience in a beautiful, quiet location run by a friendly, happy Bunaken Local then come to Lorenso’s cottage! He was more than happy to help us with all our needs. Rooms and facilities are basic but that’s what we were expecting.

I spent 3 weeks with Lorenso, and he's such a kind and helpful person. The location is amazing to snorkel, and super quiet. The rooms are big but not in the best state. There is also no signal and no wifi. But the food that Lorenso cooks doesn't disappoint! I'll come back to visit!!

A peaceful spot surrounded by nature, with a coral reef just a short swim away! If you’re looking for luxury and a bustling atmosphere, this isn't the place for you. But if you want a simply beautiful spot where you feel right at home, you’ll find it at Lorenzo’s Cottage. Lorenso (and his daughter Gaby, when she’s around) treat you like family; you can have fascinating conversations about culture, get recommendations for the island or your future travels, and just talk about life! Without a doubt, if I come back, I’d stay with Lorenso again. :)

Lugar perfecto para perderse y desconectar en contacto con la naturaleza. Bungalows muy basicos con apenas comodidades pero eso es el lujo: no necesitar nada más. Lorenzo y su encantadora familia son muy acogedores, todos sus huéspedes formamos una familia. Es genial conocer gente de distintos países unidos por compartir actividades como snorkel, buceo o simplemente relax.
