Monteur-Fremdenzimmer - Petit Quartier

I booked the place after reading so many good reviews and ‘great choice’ on Agoda. It was a non-refundable booking. Thus I paid everything before getting the hostess’ first message about the place being for workers. I checked and rechecked again multiple times by the property description on Agoda page, but I cannot find this information. The place on Google is named Petit Quartier bed & breakfast, and on Agoda Monteur-Fremdenzimmer - Petit Quartier. As a non German speaker, I cant never understand that the place is meant for workers just from reading the name. Besides the fact that the hostess is very warm welcoming and the place is in general very clean, I’m very unsatisfied and have requested for a refund because: 1. The address is misleading. Everything on Agoda site says it is in Boppard city center instead of Merenberg. We drove extra 1.5hours to reach the place in very bad weather condition after following Agoda booking confirmation’s address and ending up standing in the middle of nowhere in Boppard. The hostess then said that this is the fault from Agoda’s end and I had to contact them. I did. 2. The place is for workers not for traveling family without clear information upfront (as explained above). We could not rest at all in such a very hot room with neither airco nor fan and we got attacked by so many mosquitoes. My 19m toddler got so discomfort with sleeping. We had to leave eventually early at 5am. 3. We did not expect to share the bathroom/toilet. The customer service agent also confirmed that only shared kitchen is listed on the site, not shared bathroom/toilet. I just checked again now on Agoda and this info is fixed, but I’m sure it was not stated at the time I booked. Private bathroom/toilet is the top priority for us when traveling as a family, so this for me is also a minus point. Those are 3 reasons that cause our disappointment about the place. After a few back and forth messages to Agoda I got confirmed to have €10 in refund (out of €50) in the upcoming days. This is in general a frustrating experience!
