Good budget accommodation on Phi Phi. The manager Dene is lovely and will make you feel welcome. Housekeeping staff are lovely too. This is budget accommodation. They are separate bungalows of reasonable size which have their own bathrooms. They have a fridge inside for your drinks and there's a basic wardrobe and double bed. The bungalows are in the middle of a small village which is about a 20 min longtail boat trip from the main area of Tonsai. There's a free transfer to Tonsai on a boat a few times per day but if you stay late in Tonsai, you have to arrange your own boat back. The local village is lovely. Very quiet with a few nice charming bars and maybe a handful of eateries, a pharmacy, a clothes outlet and a few massage shops. The locals are very friendly and the atmosphere is relaxed and low key. Quite the opposite to busy Tonsai with its fire shows, crazy bars and crazy people. I recommend this resort for people who want to stay in the quiet part of phi phi on a budget

We had a beautiful stay here with the friendliest owner who made our time in Phi Phi an exceptional experience, beautful rural area, if you are looking for the nightlife and party vibe maybe stay closer to the pier as we found it difficult to access it due to no cars or bikes on the island, but for us this was amazing as we had a peaceful stay away from the noise and still got to experience the beauty of phi phi.

We absolutely loved our stay at Bakao Resort, it’s in a busy little village towards the north of the island away from party land. The cute bungalows have had a gold and silver make over, basic but everything you need and boiling water available in the communal area. The village has a good few restaurants with veggie options, Pad Thai was our favourite. The massage parlour next door was amazing- ask for Pan! There are walking trails everywhere from the village, to Viewpoints, Leom Tong beach, Nui beach and all the way to party town at Ton Sai. Sad to be leaving this place

We really enjoyed our stay at Ba Kao Resort. The place is at a quiet beach away from the parties and crowds which we really enjoyed. Communication with the host prior to booking was very smooth and we were picked up and dropped at the pier at no extra charge (the boat ride is beautiful). The bungalow is clean and has AC, hot water and a fridge and is cleaned on a daily basis. The host is very friendly and the free coffee and tea is all also a nice add-on. We really enjoyed our stay at the quiet side of Phi Phi islands and would certainly recommend Ba Kao resort to other travelers.

We had a lovely time here, the rooms are large and clean, the location is quiet and staff are friendly. Dean gave us such kind hospitality finding excursions and transfers for incredible prices. Will definitely be back!
