This is a wonderful boutique hotel in Jima village right at nature's doorstep (and a short bike ride to Yangshou's centre). You'll be sure to get a great night's sleep in this peaceful location alongside all the rustic charm the property provides. The staff are super helpful and friendly in equal measure. Their familial approach creates a very warm and welcoming atmosphere!

Hotel room was spacious and nicely furnished with traditional elements, decorations, and modern accompaniments. A nice blend between historical and modern, the hotel provides a wonderful resting space for people visiting Yangshuo. Although the hotel is a bit hidden, there are ample signs leading to the location and the walk to the hotel is actually quite scenic. Finally, since it is set in an old house / building, there are no elevators. As such, do be aware that bringing a lot of luggage might be tough. The staff will of course help you with your belongings though. Five-star service.

After traveling to many Chinese metropolis, I chose this place for a quiet retreat. The hotel is located in a slightly secluded village area. It’s not the most convenient location if you want to be right next to commercial streets and attractions, but if your goal is to be conveniently close to nature and beautiful scenery then it’s better than the city center. The hotel offers private transport service which is very convenient, but DiDi and taxi was easy to hail as well (during off season). Personally, I’d go for the private transport if you just want a streamlined and comfortable vacation experience. However, if you want to budget travel, it is also convenient to use other transport options. I’d say the hotel is moderately priced by USD standards and expensive by local standards. If you’re traveling with Chinese elders and just want to treat them, don’t let them know the price of anything lol. However, I think most people who are willing to book this accommodation is willing to pay moderately to high and it is worth it. The hotel is gorgeous, the service is 5 star, and the staff can speak English and Chinese. I’d say this hotel is best for foreign travelers who want to experience the beauty of Chinese architecture and nature and a small retreat. The hotel had a pretty garden that’s relaxing to walk in and a 3rd floor vantage point if you want to relax up there or take pictures. There’s also free hanfu for you to borrow and take aesthetic photos in. The staff can help you arrange anything and everything; including recommendations and tours. I’d say this hotel excelled at beauty and service. The accommodation is a repurposed old house so don’t expect 5 star perfection in the building. There’s wear and tear everywhere but it fits with the aesthetics. I would like to come again. :)

From a very warm greeting to a fond goodbye - this hotel exceeded all expectations and was the real highlight of our trip to China. The hotel grounds are stunning, a really lush green garden with old style Chinese buildings completing one another. It’s tucked away from a quiet but easily accessible road to where you want to go. Within 8 minutes cycle, we got to the river and had some stunning cycles along there. When you got back from a a busy day, the kitchen was open ‘til late, serving a huge variety of western and Chinese food. Everything was delicious, especially the breakfast! The view from the terrace for drinks/dinner is just stunning. Better than the pictures. The host and team are so warmhearted and friendly, asking if there’s anything they can do. It really felt like you were welcomed into their home. Thanks for this fantastic stay - would love to come back when we come back to Yangshuo again.

Con habitaciones cómodas y de lujo, un restaurante impecable y una atención, de Sophia y sus compañeras, impecable, no podría sino recomendar parar un par de noches en este espacio perfecto para el descanso, para desconectar y disfrutar de una velada única durante tu viaje en China.
