The Home Hotel Zürich - a member of DESIGN HOTELS

Great hotel with big room and evertyhing in it being so classy. It is abit on the more expensive side but if it's worth the money compared to other hotels in the city. Is not really central but with the trams around it, it's actually quite convenient. There is also a shopping mall, cinemas and restrauants around.

I have to be honest and say I was sceptical from the few poor reviews - and I'm generally hard to please ;-) In reality, (almost) everything about my stay here was flawless. Booking through Agoda, I missed out on Marriott Bonvoy benefits, but nonetheless my stay was sublime. The hotel sits within the Sihlcity shopping precinct, so literally on the doorstep of shops, cafes, groceries, restaurants and a cinema. More importantly, it's a 3-minute easy walk from the front door to the Saalsporthalle (S4) train station. The room was well furnished, the bed was comfortable, and the shower was PHENOMENAL (good pressure, good temperature!) Small bonus: the mini bar was free. I don't know if this was room type-dependent, but it had water, coke, coke zero, and beer (I think!). I only had the water, and sadly it wasn't replenished during the stay, but... it was still free, so I'm not upset about it. Having stayed in 5 other hotels in and around Zurich, The HOME Hotel is now my first choice. I loved it.

Great location, wonderful breakfast and fun bar, beautiful hotel and the rooms are super comfortable downsize is no parking and getting Ubers were miserable due to the location being in a mall and very confusing otherwise great stay

Conveniently beside a shopping mall with a large size Coop. Also several restaurants in the vicinity. To enter the gym, it requires a RFID band to be obtained from the reception. Gym is fairly huge. Equipment is quite new and clean. Breakfast is good. Location whilst is ok. 7 tram stops from Zurich HB.
