아크카레요 스위스 퀄리티 호텔

It is located right next to the funicular that brings you directly to and from Lugano main train station. It is a short walk to the lake and main city center. The staff were polite & helpful. The room is perfectly clean however the aircon made some horrendous noises periodically throughout the night. So if that doesn’t bother you, this will be a perfect choice.

Overall not bad given it’s close to the main train station (please take the funicular next to the station instead of walking to/ fro the hotel). It’s kind of confusing to locate the hotel via google map. The aircon sound is really annoying yet one should appreciate that there is one, not all hotels in Switzerland provide aircon if case u are not aware of this.

Did not expect much from hotel but was surprised at room size and comfort. Staff was nice to help us book a free day ticket for Lugano public transport. If you are parking, you can purchase a full day parking ticket from hotel to use ar the nearby parking garage. If coming by train, you can take the funicular from station directly to the front of hotel. Very convenient.

The hotel is literally just below the train station and easy to get to with luggages by using the funicular. Staff were polite and kind and helpful. The room is small but still enough to put two luggages comfortably. Slippers are available upon request and there is air con which is rare in Switzerland, albeit the air con is quite old. Like most hotels I have been in Switzerland, shampoo and body wash (usually two in one) are provided and basically that's all. Linens are clean and housekeeping is up to standard. Breakfast is nothing fanciful, just the usual spread, but filling enough to start your day. Generally by Swiss standard this hotel is worth the money paid for the room.
