Followed by my reservation, I didn't get any instructions about the check-in, and also in the description and booking confirmation it was not meant with details. So, I arrived to the address around 7pm, and there was no reception, this is a house with some flats. After I realised there is no phone number provided. I wrote in the agoda chat to the host, there was no answer during 25 minutes, so I contacted the agoda customer service, that was an AI chatbot... anyways, I hot from the chatbot an email address. After the @ there was a four stars hotel name in the near and in the meantime a man who live in one of the apartment there also confirmed I have to go to that hotel for pick-up the key. Regarding I had no information, I followed the google maps that suggested climb on a non clean pedestrian way in big snow and lots of ice. When I get the key I got to know, there is another was that the google maps didn't mention, and that was absolutely fine. After finally, I was in the flat I realized there was no soap and any liquid for wash my hands after toilet. So, I walked back again a 10 minutes to the hotel and asked soap, because all the shops in the near were closed that time. In the flat I didn't find any termostat, but the room temperature was quite low and I woke a up a few times middle of the night because of this. I will never return to this host. 

This is the cheapest that I can find during my stay last April 13-16, 2023. The location is about 5 mins walk to the center and a bit higher (in elevation) so be prepared for some slopes along the way. There is an elevator option though near the summit 22 hotel. What I like about this is that it‘s also near the cable car station going to Glacier Paradise, and the view from the hotel is also nice (since it‘s elevated). You have to pick up the key to the room from Hotel Alallin near the church. The room is also clean and just fine for a solo traveller like me. There is a mini fridge and electric stove, but I didn‘t use ist actually since I always eat outside. Overall, I would say that this is good for a traveller on a budget, don‘t expect to have something like 5 star hotel experience.
