Location: ~20 min walk to the main area of West Street. We liked being on the quieter side of town. There's still smaller convenience stores/restaurants nearby like a 5-10 min walk if you want to grab something quick. We took a Didi back in the evenings and it was very affordable. Room: We stayed in the mountain view room and enjoyed the view, especially in the mornings. It was nice to sit out on the balcony and sip some tea. Staff: The staff was very helpful. They helped us book a tour and an early morning taxi to the train station in Guilin. Amenities: We appreciated the free laundry and the detergent. There is plenty of space on the roof and hangers for drying clothes. We didn't use the shared kitchen much but they had utensils available and appliances like a microwave and fridge. The common areas indoor and outdoor are nice. We didn't hang out there much because we were there in December so it was kind of cold. The free drinking water was not available because the machine was down. They did have bottled water for sale for pretty cheap though along with other beverages like soda and beer. The only areas of improvement are small things like updating the information on the walls. There is a hand made map on the wall of the areas around town but it is kind of faded/falling apart. Also there's a village bike map that was hard to read because it was faded. Overall we really liked our stay. It was a great value. I bet it would be even better in nicer weather for the pool!

All the staff there were super friendly and helpful, particularly Shi Tou (石头) and An Xin (安心) whom we felt really went above and beyond to help us whenever we needed any assistance or information during our stay at beautiful Yang Shuo. But just note that this is more like a hostel than a hotel, then you weren’t be too disappointed.

Nice choice of you like to e in a little quieter area. Helpful reception gives lots of advise. Can rent bikes, have a coffee, arrange transfers, activities. Nice communal areas. Views-higher and more to rear of property the better!

The staff are amazing they give great recommendations and go above and beyond for you. I think the bathrooms need some updates.

Good place to stay. Little far from west street however can take DiDi or E bike
