Very well situated but we found it a bit expensive for what we paid. Our room was very tired, and very dull. It looked onto the rear car park with lots of passers by, and loads of early morning noise. Wouldn't stay again I'm afraid - sorry!

Solo trip to Worksop
I chose the Lion Hotel as I’d stayed here before. It is central to where I was going (it’s in the town centre). Walking distance to cinema, theatre and local restaurants. My only downside this visit to my single room, was it was upstairs and the lift doesn’t serve this side of the hotel (previous visit was a single room outside) on this occasion it had a total of 18 stairs and 6 fire doors to go thru. With health issues and limited mobility not very good and with a case and bag to carry too wasn't the easiest to manoeuvre to the room. Check in and out was very easy to do.
