MIOKI HOMETEL

This was easily my most favorite place to stay in all the different countries I’ve travelled so far! The family who took care of me during my 3 days there treated me like their own family! I made lifelong friends with Michael the son and Albert the owner of Tambai Snack and Restobar located right down the road! I had the best 3 days of my trip drinking beer, eating new foods and singing karaoke with them!! I can’t recommend this place and this town enough! If you want a great experience with genuine locals who truly want you to enjoy your time on vacation then book with this AMAZING family! I will be back and 100% will be back to this homestay! Nice property, as everything in Philippines, nothing is always perfect in the bathroom, but generally all was good, very nice host.

This place was great for the price. However, it does have a cold shower and many bugs will come into the room. The AC room is quite small but has a comfortable bed. You will need to sleep with the mosquito net. The owner said I would need to pay extra for the room in cash because I did not book the correct room. However, I made sure I booked the same room that was in the photos but the owner never asked for an additional payment. You can rent a scooter from the accommodation and it is located well if you want to see the Tarsier monkeys and Chocolate hills.
