The place is very clean and the host was very helpful. Just that if you’re easily woken up by motor sounds i would not recommend but for me im fine.

Travelled and stayed alone, probably the best experience I ever had comparing to staying in a hotel. The room is extremely spacious on Bintulu room 5. Beds weren't super comfortable but enough to let me sleep for the night peacefully. It's a shame the headrest is really near the entrance door. Sinks, few dining tools is provided with a reattach able table. The toilet is not bad, it has every needs to become a hotel room but with proper maintenance like a homestay. The passcode was a major insecurity as anyone who used to hear the code will recognize the sound easily. I do recommend not to put important items or cash in the room even thought the security looks tight but there is no staff at all. The only connection you'll ever get is thru phone call or message from the owners of the homestay. Overall the room is nice, price is affordable. Better than some hotel that has virtual staff but the room is extremely dreadful.

Pros: The stay was generally okay. Suitable for a last-minute stay when other hotels are fully booked. Cons: The room we received was not the one advertised. We had stayed in this same room before and were hoping for a different experience. The room has no windows, which made it feel very suffocating. There was also no TV, which could have helped make the room feel less confined. Cleanliness is an issue. In my previous visit, I noted human hair on the plate rack used for drying dishes. On this stay, almost a year later, it was still there, suggesting that previous feedback has not been addressed. The place is more like a rest house in a shop lot building rather than a proper hotel, so do not expect standard hotel amenities or ambiance. Overall: This room is not suitable for those who value natural light, fresh air, or basic comforts like a TV. Cleanliness and maintenance issues were disappointing, and the unaddressed feedback makes it less appealing. It is only suitable for last-minute stays when other accommodations are fully booked.

The room in Tiny Home reminded me of a bedsit in Edinburgh, only down the stairs and outside the window were the shops and merriment of the Chinese community in Miri. Safe, clean, and simply but well-equipped, I will definitely stay there again!
